Final Justice By M. A. Comley

Book Description:

A ruthless killer returns–and former DI Lorne Simpkins is forced to revisit her ugly past.

After suffering a breakdown and quitting the force, Lorne Simpkins
finds herself embroiled in an MI6 covert operation to hunt down her old enemy, a sadistic and merciless criminal whose ambition is to become the world’s richest man.

Lorne tracks the madman through France, attempting to thwart his plans and bring her long-time nemesis to Final Justice.

My Thought’s:

Final Justice is the third book in the Lorne Simpkins series.

As with Cruel Justice and Impeding Justice the first two books in the series I found Final Justice to be fast paced, gripping and unable to put it down.

The title is perfect for this book as once again Lorne comes up against her arch enemy the Unicorn.

The story is mainly set in France which the author gives us a great insight into the country and the lifestyle there.

Lorne is such a great character and where as I found her to be very strong in the first two books, I think we see more of a vulnerable side to her this time, though she is very much still the feisty, stubborn lady that all fans of the series have come to love.

I enjoyed the relationship between Lorna and her dad as well as Tony in this book as well as her beloved dog. I think the relationship’s make the reader be able to relate to her character more.

I can’t wait to see what the author has in store for Lorne in Foul Justice the fourth is the series.

I have awarded this book 5/5 stars.

    1. you can read as a stand alone but i think you will enjoy them more by starting from the beginning as the first 3 books in the series are to do with Lorne’s enemy the Unicorn and you will understand the background and her hatred for him. its a great series. you will get hooked be warned šŸ™‚
