Book Description:

Book Two in the Dhampyre Chronicles

After almost dying at the hands of the carnival people, Elizabeth is settling in at Sage Springs. Dealing with the difficulties of juggling college and being half-vampire doesn’t seem so bad now her new life involves sexy, Irish biker Riley.

When a girl is found murdered on the beach, Elizabeth realizes she has dreamed about the killer, and she is thrown into a whole new situation. Someone appears to be picking off her friends, one by one, and she thinks she may be next.

But there are too many things she can’t explain, from the sudden fog that appears to have taken over Sage Springs, to the thing she believes may be hidden within it.

Is a person trying to kill off the witches of Sage Springs, or is something far more sinister in play?

My Thought’s:

Twisted Magic is the second in The Dhampyre Chronicles and even though you could read it as a stand alone I personally would recommend reading Twisted Dreams the first book in the series.

Sage Springs, the setting for the books is certainly not a place where I would want to set foot in never mind live. In Twisted Magic there are some strange going ons that result in the death of one of Elizabeth’s friends. It’s not long before Beth and all her friends are in fear for their friends and their own lives.

Twisted Magic is pretty fast paced throughout this story and as with all of Marissa’s books I was hooked from start to finish. Marissa has created a fantastic new series which to me is screaming out to be made into a TV series. I can see this series having quite a cult following.

There really is something in this series for everyone as it has thrills, twists and even a bit of romance thrown in for good measure. Cannot recommend highly enough. Even though Twisted Magic has only just come out I will be keeping an eager eye out for the next one!

I have awarded this book 5/5 stars.

Twisted Magic is available to purchase from Amazon.co.uk and Amazon.com
