catching love when it falls

Book Description:

William and Belinda, both genetically altered, meet years after leaving the government-rearing nursery. Their late development allowed them to escape a life devoted to the government’s defence departments. If their skills are now discovered they will be conscripted and never be free again.

William’s talent is to move through space between locations in the blink of an eye. Belinda can lift objects of great weight with her mind. Their relationship creates a raft of problems both struggle to overcome.

‘Catching Love When it Falls’ explores an alternative reality and discovers the one thing neither Belinda nor William can control – love.

Writing a Paranormal Romance series is an exciting thing to do.

The best thing is you don’t have to do it all at once.  You can dawdle along with one story and make jottings about ideas that occur along the way. Characters pop into your story and you think “I’d like to develop that person”. You make a note and can go back later and write a complete new novel about them.

I did this with the fifth book in the series called “Romancing the Memory Collector”. The main male character features in the fourth book, a short cameo appearance but he tickled my fancy and I had to create a story for him –which in turn lead to more new characters, so there could always be a sixth novel to follow.

I eventually had to make some notes on characters appearances, their loves and likes, their fears and the talents they had and how they used them.  Mostly, I have it in my memory, but sometimes I need to take a quick peep to check I have the facts right. Readers do not tolerate errors of any kind, especially with characters they have become attached to. They are very real to me.

‘Catching Love When it Falls’ begins with the romance and trials of the lead characters, William and Belinda, of the Corban Family and from there the books each jump in time forward covering three generations. Each story stands alone and they do not have to be read in order. However, I am releasing them very close together so that those of you who love a series can have your appetite satisfied quickly.
