My Thoughts:

Last Witness is the second novel in the authors crime series. The author gives enough background so that anyone not having had the pleasure of reading the first one can dive right in. I do recommend reading the previous book though as it is a great book.

As with the authors first book, the first few pages had me hooked. He certainly knows how to get the readers attention from the off and doesn’t let go until you get to the very last word.

This was such a gripping story line. I really enjoyed the story line of a past event coming back to haunt Zac. The author isn’t in a rush to divulge just what though ensuring you keep turning those pages to see just what happened and it was worth the wait.

I enjoyed getting to know more of Zac’s team and seeing how they all work together. I was totally with Zac with his gut instincts and couldn’t wait to find out the how’s and why’s. I loved the shocks and surprises that were in store for me making this very much an adrenaline fueled read.

Last Witness is an edge of your seat thriller that had me well and truly gripped. With yet another killer prologue, this is one author to watch out for and get adding to your must read list. A dark and edgy read that will leave you desperate for more.
