Book Description:

Summers in town were always the same. Filled with fun, laughter and freedom. Then came Trouble.

My Thoughts:

Trouble is a short story that had me engrossed through out. We first meet the main character, John, when he is a young boy enjoying life with his friends. It will certainly make you remember what it was like to be young and carefree and what life was all about at that age.

The story has a slight feel of Stand By Me which was adapted from Stephen King’s novel, The Body. Only because of the characters ages and that close bond that they have.

I don’t want to say to much about the story but it is very much about prejudices and injustice. It had me hooked and I couldn’t put it down until I got to the very last page.

Trouble is an impressive debut that has left me very much looking forward to more by the author. It is captivating and had me go through an array of emotions. Definitely one that everyone should read.

Trouble is available to purchase from Amazon. (Please note that link used is an affiliate link).
