So we’ve come to the end of another year and what a year it’s been!
Whilst 2018 hasn’t been a great year in my personal life, book wise it has been an amazing year. Lots of highlights and fab reads, us readers have well and truly been spoilt with just as much to look forward to in 2019.
The main thing I am looking forward to next year is the release of my #BBFF’s debut novel, DEAD INSIDE, which is out on the 31st of May.
Can’t begin to tell you how proud and excited I am for Noelle. Not only is she an amazing friend, she is an awesome writer also. She has been a true rock as well as a guardian angel and she deserves every bit of success. If you only read one book in 2019, make sure this is it!
So what did I get up to in 2018? Well I attended Theakston’s Crime Festival in Harrogate, third year in a row, as well as Bloody Scotland in Stirling, of which, was as a first timer. Both events were brilliant experiences and can’t recommend them highly enough if you get the chance to go. I also stepped out of my comfort zone and compered an event at Harrogate library thanks to the wonderful Malcolm Hollingdrake.
Thanks to Joanne Robertson for being my roomie in Harrogate, 3 times running, and to Sharon Bairden for being my roomie in Stirling and making our youth hostel experience a very enjoyable one!
I know many bloggers, myself included, usually do a top 10 of books that have especially stood out to us. This year I’ve decided not to as have just read so many great books. I do have a top read though of which is Don’t Make A Sound by David Jackson with a strong contender that came a very close second, The Puppet Show by M.W Craven.
I could be here all day telling you just why these books are absolute must reads but still don’t think I could do them justice. Just read them and see for yourself. You won’t be disappointed!
There have been many new authors I have discovered this year also, of which I’m very excited to read more by them. There are too many to mention so won’t list them all. The same as the many authors whose books I am already a fan of and whose books I have happily devoured this year. There have been so many and can’t thank them enough for the hours spent enjoying them all.

So in a nutshell, that’s my round up of 2018. A massive thank you to all the publishers, authors, readers and bloggers who have brought me so much happiness this year. Blogging has always been a life line for me, more so this year than ever before and I am truly grateful for the support that the book community gives. All that is left for me to say is thank you, again, and wish all of you a Happy Holidays and hope that 2019 holds lots of great things for all of us. Xx

All the love for you ❤️ Here is to a mega 2019! 🥂😘
