My Thoughts:

Lynda Renham is an author who is well known in the women’s fiction genre but oh boy is she making her mark in psychological thrillers!

The story starts off on a secluded island where Abby and her husband see more than they bargained for. For me this was a great way to start off the story as you know there is something sinister a foot but it didn’t prepare me for what a dark and twisted read it would actually get.

I like how the author uses two very different women as strong protagonists in the novel. Ellen is an officer in a small community who is wanting to transfer somewhere, where there is more crime for her to sink her teeth into. What Abby and her husband sees has Ellen’s senses going into overdrive in the hope that this could be her big case.

Abby, I clicked with straight away. As a mother, there is nothing you wouldn’t do for the safety of your child. She has a lot to contend with, with the threat to her family as well as trying to overcome her husbands marital affair. Whilst she is collapsing in the inside, on the outside she is definitely a force to be reckoned with.

She Saw What He Did has to be my favourite of the authors books in it’s genre. It is a tense and suspenseful read which had me tearing through the pages. There is some jumping back and forth in parts that really grab your concentration but I never felt lost and was able to keep up no problem. If you love psychological thrillers that will have you on the edge of your seat, then this is one author you need to be adding to your to read list.
