Book Description:
Stacy can’t believe her luck when her best friend Emily invites her on a holiday to Switzerland.
She arrives at the Lakeside Hotel with high hopes, but the problems begin straightaway. Emily’s recent injury doesn’t let her do much, and something is wrong at the hotel. Where are all the guests? Why is the owner’s son so bad-tempered? And then there’s the odd behaviour of Stacy’s fiancé, back home. It’s hard to enjoy the scenery with all this going on…
By the last day of the holiday, Stacy knows her life will never be the same again – but the end of the week is just the beginning of the Lakeside adventure.
My Thoughts:
This is the first book in the Lakeside series and what an absolutely fabulous start it is to.
Who doesn’t love a wonderful setting for a story and they really don’t come more idyllic than this one. Mainly set in Switzerland, I fell head over heels in love with the place and if money wasn’t an issue, I would already have packed my bags and been sat on a plane to go and see if for myself.
Apart from Stacy’s boyfriend, who I thought was a bit of a cold fish, I loved all the characters that we meet along the way. They really make this story come alive and at just over a hundred pages long, I flew through the book. Have to say I was sad to get to the end as I had enjoyed it so much but the best thing is, is that there are plenty more in the series to read.
A Lake In Switzerland has to be one of the most idyllic books in it’s genre. Not only will you fall in love with the setting, the authors writing will have you hook, line and sinker with the characters and story line also. A truly lovely read and I can’t wait to read more in the Lakeside series.
A Lake In Switzerland is available to purchase from Amazon. (Please note that link used is an affiliate link).
Wow – thank you very much, Sarah, I’m so glad you like my feel-good venture! I had great fun writing these novellas; the setting is just up the road from my home. xx

I would love to sit and read this by a lake in Switzerland, but alas, it will have to be by a pool instead. Nice review Sarah.
