My Thoughts:

As soon as I started this book I knew I wasn’t going anywhere until I’d finished it. This author has a fantastic skill of drawing the reader straight in from the very first paragraph and keeping them there until the very last word.

Tessa has had a lot of heartache in her life and coming home to find a strange boy in her kitchen is just the start of more problems. I was absolutely clueless as to how he could have got there and more than anything, WHY, he was there.

I really enjoyed Tessa’s character as well as Ben her boss. The friendship between them was just another reason that had me turning those pages. Sadly I couldn’t say the same about Carly, Tessa’s neighbour who just happens to be a journalist.

The Secret Mother makes for a very addictive read. I couldn’t put it down until I knew the full story and what a story it was! As the tension mounts, I could literally feel my heart pounding. It definitely gets the adrenaline flowing. Am a huge fan of this authors books and if you love books in the psychological genre then this author really should be the on the top of your list.
