Book Description:
No matter where you hide…
Kaitlyn Best is stuck in a rut. So when she discovers she’s pregnant after a one-night-stand with Alex, her school crush, she throws caution to the wind and accepts his offer to make a new life together in the depths of the Lake District, far from her home… and her demons.
He will find you.
But Alex is not what he seems. And when Kaitlyn’s world begins to crumble before her eyes, she realises she barely knows the man she has agreed to spend the rest of her life with.
Since Alex won’t tell her his secrets, Kaitlyn vows to find them out for herself. But when she uncovers the truth, she realises she has made a terrible mistake…
Following her 2017 bestselling psychological thriller Those Who Lie, Diane Jeffrey is back with another chilling story of domestic suspense, perfect for fans of BA Paris and Sandie Jones.
My Thoughts:
I couldn’t really fault Kaitlyn for wanting to give it a go with a man she falls pregnant to after one night. The Old Vicarage and the surrounding area, sounded such a wonderful place to live and raise a family. Alex seems charming and it looks like her life will be all rosy. As we get to see more of the relationship between Alex and Kaityln though, without a doubt, rosy is the last thing that this marriage is going to be.
Suspense and intrigue is round every corner throughout the story. There were certainly some things I didn’t see coming of which really keeps the reader on their toes. I loved Kaitlyn’s family, who are a great support network, of which you don’t always see in this genre of book. Alex, I grew to dislike the more I got to know him.
He Will Find You is a truly gripping read that draws you in and holds you there. With little twists here and there, it sure does make for a page turner of a read of which I read in two sittings. My first book by the author and certainly won’t be my last.
My thanks to the author for a copy of this book. All opinions are my own and not biased in anyway.
