My Thoughts:
I am a massive fan of the books in the Lily Pond Lane series, so was over the blooming moon to see that the author has written anther couple of books in the series.
This is a little village where the characters really get under your skin and I mean that in a good way. It’s like they are all my friends and I love life in the village and keeping up to date with how everyone is.
Unfortunately, it seems that the residents are in for a bit of misfortune, well some of them anyway. My goodness, my heart was in my mouth to see what bit of bad luck was going to strike next. The author also seriously messed with my head as in one particular thread I wasn’t sure what her intentions were for a couple of the characters. That really did make for some tense reading that’s for sure!
Return To Lily Pond Lane is like being reunited with family and friends. I loved catching up with the going on’s in the village and am pleased to say the connection with this series just gets stronger and stronger. A delightful and engrossing read of which is a series I will never tire of.
