Book Description:
Ellie’s dreams of opening a bakery in Sunnybrook are coming true and best friends Fen and Jaz are happily rallying round, helping her to plan a fabulous grand opening day. Everything in their garden seems to be rosy – until the arrival of a newcomer brings chaos to the village and tests relationships to the limit. Can the bakery succeed in the face of such upheaval? And more importantly, can firm friendships survive?

My Thoughts:
Even though this is the 5th book in the Little Duck Pond Cafe series, yet again the author has written it in a way that it can easily be read as a standalone. Be prepared though as you are going to want to go and visit the other books in the series after reading this one.
Kate is the newcomer to the small village and I loved her character straight from the off. She’s has a lot to deal with in her past and is scared of how people will take her background, deciding to keep it to herself instead. I had to feel sorry for her when she finds herself not only working, but living with Madison.
Madison is one of those characters that you kind of love to dislike. She did take me by surprise at times though but she is someone I definitely never really warmed too. Now Richard the love interest. Well that’s a different matter. I absolutely loved him and could feel myself falling ever so slightly in love with him also.
A Bakery At The Little Duck Pond Cafe is such a fabulous and at times, emotive read. I think this one has to be my favourite out of the authors books that I have read so far. There is just something about this particular story that made me fall even harder for it. It has everything I would want from this genre of book and more. A must read!
My thanks to Rachel at Rachel’s Random Resources for an advanced readers copy of this book. All opinions are my own and not biased in anyway.

Author Bio
Rosie Green has been scribbling stories ever since she was little. Back then they were rip-roaring adventure tales with a young heroine in perilous danger of falling off a cliff or being tied up by ‘the baddies’. Thankfully, Rosie has moved on somewhat, and now much prefers to write romantic comedies that melt your heart and make you smile, with really not much perilous danger involved at all, unless you count the heroine losing her heart in love.
Rosie’s brand new series of novellas is centred on life in a village café. Confetti at the Little Duck Pond Cafe will be the sixth in the series
