My Thoughts:

Water Under the Bridge is the first book in The Water Series and what a dark and fun read it is to!

The story alternates between Kate and Jude who are more alike than either of them know. They are both killers for a start. I’ve read a few stories to do with serial killers but not two in the story!

I was bit unsure to start with as this two characters are pretty wacko. If you were to sleep with either one you would always be sleeping with one eye open as I wouldn’t trust either as far as I could throw them, which certainly wouldn’t be far. The more I got to know them though, the more I found myself liking them.

Both are highly unpredictable so you never know quite what would be waiting for you with each chapter. With each chapter though, I got to know both better and in some ways made me understand them a bit better. Not that I could condone what they do as killing people obviously isn’t right but it really makes for a fun read.

Water Under the Bridge was an unexpected fun and entertaining read. Never read anything like this story before and so pleased it’s part of a series as I definitely want to read more. If you’re looking for a psychological thriller that is unique with lots of twists and turns, then this is certainly one you want to try.
