My Thoughts:
I’m not sure about the worst couple in the world but Zeke and Angelique have got to be the most annoying couple in it. This is a couple who would have actually fitted into the 70’s perfectly with their hippy vibe and self love.
Admittedly I was very sceptical that these two could ever make it as music stars after we hear the lyrics to their songs. They are quite cringe worthy yet laughable, in fact there is a lot of humour throughout the book which does make it a very light hearted read.
We follow the highs and lows of this couple in their bid to make it big in the music world. There are quite a small cast of characters of which Zeke’s mum, his brother and Ralph the music producer all added to this fun but rather bonkers story.
The Worst Couple In The World, being a novella, is perfect if you’re looking for a quick and easy read. Angelique and Zeke will make you grimace as well as laugh and is a story that definitely doesn’t take itself very seriously. A story that is guaranteed to put a smile on your face.
