My Thoughts:

So the queen of gangland has taken a step into the world of psychological thrillers and has shown that she can smash it in both genres.

Rebecca thinks her life is on the up. She has a wealthy, good looking hubby and a beautiful baby daughter. Motherhood isn’t all it’s cracked up to be though and Rebecca finds herself struggling. Not only is she struggling with motherhood, but the rest of her life seems to be falling apart also.

This is one of those stories where you don’t know quite what or who to believe. Rebecca can be unreliable at times which adds to the thrills in this novel. The tension is unrelenting with the suspense building into a frenzy as to what just did happen in her past, as well as who seems to have it in for her.

MINE is one of those novels that once picked up, you won’t be putting it back down anytime soon. I read it in one evening as was totally under the author’s spell. The twists thrilled and excited me in equal measure, making this one dark and mess with your head read. A psychological thriller that delivered on all scores for me.
