My Thoughts:
Sara is back with a truly gruesome murder case. I don’t know how the author comes up with new ways to kill characters off, but I am loving it!
I have to say I was seriously cringing whilst reading of how the victims in this book get murdered. As much as I wanted to turn away, I couldn’t help devouring what was happening to them. I could feel my heart hammering against my chest as the adrenaline of what was happening flew off the pages onto me.
As with Sara and her team, I found the whole case quite complex. Things just seem to go from bad to worse. Even Sara is feeling the pressure with this one and I was actually with her boss on this one, wanting her to hold altogether and realise how great she is at her job
The author also has a great way of bringing current situations into her stories. Through one of her colleagues, we see the dangers that lorry drivers have to face with illegal immigrants and driving abroad. It seems to be getting more and more common and leaves not only the immigrants but some of the unknowing drivers open for all sorts of consequences.
Twisted Revenge says it all really. The title is perfect for the dark and twisted storyline that will have the reader eagerly turning those pages. I love how the author never fails to take me by surprise. There really seems to be a darker edge to her novels lately and I seriously can not get enough of them.
My thanks to the author for an advanced readers copy of this book. All opinions are my own and not biased in anyway.
