Book Description:
Escape to Everdene Sands, where the sun is shining – but is the tide about to turn?
Robyn and Jake are planning their dream wedding at the family beach hut in Devon. A picnic by the turquoise waves, endless sparkling rosé and dancing barefoot on the golden sand . . .
But Robyn is more unsettled than excited. She can’t stop thinking about the box she was given on her eighteenth birthday, and the secrets it contains. Will opening it reveal the truth about her history – and break the hearts of the people she loves most?
As the big day arrives, can everyone let go of the past and step into a bright new future?

My Thoughts:
One thing you are always guaranteed with a novel by Veronica Henry, is that you are in for a good reading experience.
It’s hard to know exactly how much to say in my review as the book description doesn’t give to much away and I don’t want to reveal to much to spoil it for others.
The characters are as always what makes this authors books. They are likeable and within no time I was engrossed with their everyday lives. I really liked Robyn’s family with her outspoken sister Clover and her lovely parents Mick and Sheila.
Robyn’s choices have some major affects on the people she loves which made for some emotional reading. You could see things from all sides and I didn’t envy Robyn for being in the position she was at all.
A Wedding At The Beach Hut is a wonderful story about relationships, especially the bonds between parent and child. The idyllic location of Everdene Sands added to the gentle atmosphere and pacing of this lovely read. Highly recommended!
My thanks to Anne Cater for inviting me onto the blog tour and to Orion Publishing and NetGalley for an advanced readers copy of this book. All opinions are my own and not biased in anyway.
