Book Description:

After the heart-breaking events of the previous festive season, Jenny Wilkes is dreading Christmas. The one bright spot is that her brand new business, ‘Dining In’, seems to be thriving. She’s won a contract to cater for a week-long Christmas house party at Brambleberry Manor, culminating in the sparkling Cinderella Ball, and she’s determined to do a first rate job. Meeting Noah, one of the guests, gives Jenny a glimpse of light at the end of the tunnel. But with a stroppy step-daughter determined to stand in the way of her happiness, will love really be able to conquer all?

My Thoughts:

Jenny is someone my heart went out to instantly. She lost her husband a year ago and is trying her best to make ends meet of which she has a lot on her plate with her step daughter Tavia who is struggling with her own grief over losing her dad. She has a good friend in Flo who she employees to help her with her catering services of which I really enjoyed the friendship between both women.

Noah the love interest, well I could understand why he sets Jenny’s heart all a flutter and loved their first meeting! The setting of winter and Brambleberry Manor set the stage wonderfully for this festive read. Was lovely to snuggle up on the sofa with this book in one of my favourite series’.

A Brambleberry Manor Christmas was a wonderful romantic and heartfelt read which was perfect for the festive time of the year. The blend of romance and Christmas was just enough but didn’t overpower the true meaning of this fabulous book which for me was the relationships we have with loved ones as well as good friendships. Also never giving up on the meaning of true love. Another gorgeous read by the author.

My thanks to the author and to Rachel’s Random Resources for a reader’s copy of this book. All opinions are my own and not biased in anyway.
