My Thoughts:

This is the second book of short stories I have read by the author and I have to say I quickly devoured them.

The book itself isn’t long as it is made up of ten short stories and it is the perfect book for anyone who is short on time or loves to dip in and out of a book as you could easily read each story over a tea or coffee break.

It’s a collection that is made up of psychological thrillers as well as contemporary fiction of which I read and enjoy lots of books in both genres. I thought Maisie’s Secret was a great story to kick the book off as it ensured it grabbed my attention. My favourite though had to be A Husband For All Seasons as I am a true romantic at heart and that one definitely pulled on my heart strings.

This is a great book to have either on your bedside table or to carry around with you as you will definitely want to keep reading to get to the end of each story before putting it down. As I’ve already said, if you love short stories or for readers who are short on time but love to be whisked off into the world of fiction, then I highly recommend this book. It’s an entertaining read that will have you hooked from beginning to end.

My thanks to the author for an advanced readers copy of this book. All opinions are my own and not biased in anyway.
