My Thoughts:
The author really knows how to set the mood for his books. They always have me on edge as I never quite know what horrors await me!
I loved how the story starts off with Jenny and Sean filming for their documentary at a disused hospital where years before there was a massacre by a patient who has never been found. Not only was my intrigue piqued by this particular story but also the one surrounding the Creeper in the small village where Jenny and Sean have just moved to with their two teens. Not even their new home brings them the safety and comfort they were hoping for. There is a lot more going on there than just a few bumps in the night!
If you love to be scared witless and get goose-bumps in places you could never think was possible, then Creeper by Stuart James is the novel for you. There are plenty of scares galore and if I could have read the story behind a cushion I would have done as numerous parts had me jumping out of my skin! It had me having to remind myself to breath as I was that caught up with what was happening in the story. A fabulously scary read!
