Laura and Ben have survived all manner of family mayhem. They are, against the odds, still together. A perfect wedding and happy ever after are on the horizon.
Or are they?
After no end of spokes in their wheels, our favourite lovebirds have named the day. A small do in a lovely venue, with a handful of family and friends to help them celebrate.
So where does the ungrateful pasty-loving woman come in? And when Laura and Ben are wrestling with scraggy flowers and rum-soaked fruit cake, where are Maureen and Fenella?
If you enjoyed the first four stories in the Scott Family series of romantic mayhem, you’ll love Wedding Wobbles, the final instalment.
Download this funny, heart-warming novella today to find out whether Laura and Ben get their perfect wedding, or their families finally push them over the edge.
Wedding Wobbles is the conclusion to the Scott Family series. I would highly recommend reading the others in the series before this one to get the most enjoyment as you will have a better understanding of all the characters.
You can’t help but feel for Laura and Ben. Planning a wedding at any time is a stressful time but more so when you have two mothers who make things even harder. Fenella, Ben’s mum, yet again had me biting my tongue so many times and I was dying for either Ben or Laura to give her a piece of their minds!
Things were never going to be straight forward for this couple. What follows is a humorous and also heartfelt read that will have you laughing one moment, only to be tearing up the next. There is a real sense of family and what is important in life. Whilst it makes for an entertaining read, there is also a deeper meaning to it.
Wedding Wobbles is a lovely conclusion to this series. I’ve had so much pleasure out of these novellas and I hope the author decides to revisit the characters again sometime in the near future. As much as I dislike Fenella, she does make me laugh, along with Laura’s parents who couldn’t be anymore opposite to Ben’s parents! A fun and heart-warming read!
My thanks to Rachel at Rachel’s Random Resources for inviting me to be part of the blog tour. All opinions are my own and not biased in anyway.
