The Kill List by M.A. Comley @ComleyMel

Book Description:

From NY Times bestselling author of the Justice series who has sold over four million copies worldwide.

There’s a killer on the loose, but how is he choosing his targets?

DI Sara Ramsey is about to enter the toughest week of her life. Forced to put aside a catastrophic personal problem, Sara is determined to hunt down the ruthless killer.

Will a connection between the victims raise moral issues that push her to the limits professionally? And will Sara be scarred for life by the distressing news she receives whilst dealing with the complex case?

My Thoughts:

You can’t help but feel for Sara in the latest book in the series. Not only has she and the team got a tough case to crack, she has a lot going on in her personal life to. I’m not going to go too much into that side of things but boy do things get emotional!

The author really ramps up on the murders in this book. Each one is as horrific as the last and would love to know where she gets all the ideas from on how to kill off the victims. It adds to the thrill of the story and it had my heart racing. I was very eager to know why these people were being killed as it couldn’t be anymore random but the author cleverly weaves it altogether for a great climax.

The Kill List was both a heart pounding and emotional read. It had me totally engrossed and made for a chilling and unputdownable novel. Due to the personal thread in the story, my emotions were on high alert but the case made sure that there were plenty of chills that had me excitedly turning the page to find out the who’s and why’s. Sara and Carla as always are a force to be reckoned with and I love the whole sense of team work. Kudos to the author for another great read!

My thanks to the author for an advanced readers copy of this book. All opinions are my own and not biased in anyway.
