Book Description:
From NY Times bestselling author of the DI Sara Ramsey series, M A Comley who has sold over 4 million copies worldwide, comes the next exciting instalment in the DI Sam Cobbs thriller series set in the stunning Lake District
An unknown and dangerous threat is lingering on the fells.
DI Sam Cobbs and her team are called in to investigate the disappearance of a couple of experienced hill walkers.
Vanished without a trace.
When another couple go missing in the same location, Sam realises she and her team need to quickly uncover the motive behind the complex case, a case where Sam is forced to make some dubious decisions, which could be about to put the walkers at greater risk.
My Thoughts:
You would be forgiven in getting caught up in the idyllic setting of this story. Sadly the picturesque location makes for a chilling read with young couples who have been out walking, suddenly go missing.
This is quite a different crime storyline in this book in the series so it had my interest from the start. I like that the author always seems to be thinking outside of the box to come up with thrilling storylines to grab hold of her readers attention. I always enjoy seeing how Sam and the team make headway in a case and the story took off with speed.
To Condemn Them is set in a wonderful part of the UK yet sadly reminds us that crimes can happen anywhere. I had no sympathy what so ever for the criminals behind this particular case and couldn’t wait for it to be solved so they could get their comeuppance. A heart stopping page turner!
My thanks to the author for an advanced readers copy of this book. All opinions are my own and not biased in anyway.
