Love You From A-Z by Linda Corbett @0neMoreChapter_ @lcorbettauthor

Book Description:

For the love of letters…

Experience has told Jenna Oakhurst that Happy Ever After may happen in all the best stories, but Happy For Now is the best one ought to expect in real life. Yet lately even that isn’t quite enough, so when a strange set of circumstances leads her to discover a mysterious letter in an abandoned storage unit, she takes the chance to embark on a journey into the unknown…just like the heroines from the storybooks.

Reaching out to the letter’s author, Henry Somners, changes Jenna’s world irrevocably and she starts to realise that the magic she believed in as a child might not be such a fanciful notion after all…

My Thoughts:

Jenna is such a wonderful character and I liked her from the off. Coming across a box which contains letters, brings Henry into her life. Watching this pair getting to know each other better was both sweet and heart-warming.

I have to mention Jenna’s sister and her partner who run a guinea pig sanctuary. I absolutely loved this element of the story and little Snickers, one of the animals, stole a piece of my heart and I loved the parts which had him in as it certainly adds a bit of humour!

What I particularly loved about this book is the main character having a physical disability. I don’t think I have read a storyline that has a main character with one so it made me more aware about what books I am reading and wondering why there isn’t more out there or if there is, why are they not better known. It seems weird to say you enjoyed a novel where you see how someone deals with having a physical disability but it opened my eyes as to how people can react etc.

Love You From A-Z is a wonderfully charming read with the most loveliest cast of characters, well apart from a couple but you need to read this book to discover who those are for yourselves! It’s heart-warming and uplifting with a gentle romance at it’s heart. This is the author’s debut novel and have to say what a fantastic debut it is. Very much looking forward to future books.
