Wolf Pack by Will Dean @willrdean @PointBlankCrime

Book Description:

When there’s a pack on the hunt, nobody’s safe

A closed community

Rose Farm is home to a group of survivalists, completely cut off from the outside world. Until now.

A missing person

A young woman goes missing within the perimeter of the farm compound. Can Tuva talk her way inside the tight-knit group to find her story?

A frantic search

As Tuva attempts to unmask the culprit, she gains unique access to the residents. But soon she finds herself in danger of the pack turning against her – will she make her way back to safety so she can expose the truth?

Will Dean’s most heart-pounding Tuva Moodyson thriller yet takes Tuva to her absolute limits in exposing a heinous crime, and in her own personal life. Can she, and will she, do the right thing?

My Thoughts:

I love Tuva, she is a quiet, unassuming type of person. On first impressions, she probably doesn’t come across as any real threat in terms of being a journalist but she has a knack of sensing and picking up on things that most of us would miss. It makes things very interesting as she always seems to find herself in dangerous situations.

I’m not sure if it’s because she is deaf, but there is a certain sense of vulnerability surrounding Tulva. She has no family or close friends and I feel as a reader, I am always on the edge of my seat worrying, even though she has proven herself more than capable! The setting of these books is so isolated which adds even more of a sense of danger.

A farm which is cut off from the outside world with residents who have no trust in anyone other than in their group really makes it hard work for Tulva to try and earn their trust into being allowed in and to talk to them. I wasn’t sure what to think of this strange group and my impressions that were first formed on some, surprisingly changed further on.

Wolf Pack is another heart pounding thriller by the author that has you tearing through the pages. It is crying out to be put on TV! To say this is the fifth book in the series, Will Dean keeps delivering nail biting and well plotted stories that has his readers engrossed throughout. An atmospheric and gripping crime series!

My thanks to Anne Cater for inviting me to be part of the blog tour. All opinions are my own and not biased in anyway.
